ROHM ILLUMINATION

Today I want to introduce the illuminations that can enjoy in Kyoto.

 ROHM ILLUMINATION, the biggest illumination event in Kyoto City,is held every winter season.

It is near Nagura Park where the ROHM headquarters is located.

The period is from November 22, 2019 to December 25, 2019 (34 days), and the lighting time is 16: 45 ~ 22: 00.

There are three places to see.

1.  “Waxberry Tree (ヤ マ モ モ の 木)”,  the entrance and symbol of ROHM ILLUMINATION

2. “The Light Trail” in Saidori(佐井通), after passing through the Waxberry Trees

⇒About 2o Trees and 860,000 light bulbs shine along the tree-lined streets.

3.  The new illumination, “Cocktail Garden of Light”, at Shibufu Square.

ACCESS

Hankyu Nishikyoukyu Sta. 15min on foot 

From Hankyu Sai Sta.  – 5 min by bus (13,75,202甲,205甲/ To Nishiooji Gojo(Bus stop))

From Keihan Gionshijo Sta. – 25 min by bus (80/ To Nishiooji Gojo(Bus stop))

From JR Kyoto Sta. – 20 min by bus (205乙/ To Nishiooji Gojo(Bus stop))

The roads can be very crowded on the day, so I recommend using public transportation.
