On August 16, 2025, Kyoto’s iconic summer tradition Gozan no Okuribi was held.
Although the city was struck by heavy rain for a time, thanks to the dedication of many people, the bonfires were successfully lit, sending off the spirits of ancestors welcomed during Obon.

At M’s Hotels, we offered our staying guests the opportunity to join the Gomagi Experience, writing their wishes on wooden sticks to be dedicated to the flames.
This year, many guests from around the world participated, expressing heartfelt wishes in their own native languages.
